Employment Categories
Here you can maintain your employment categories. These are used to build a default working pattern for a member of staff.
The Shift drop down boxes are used to set the default shift or for each day.
The Default Paid Hours is the number of hours a staff member in this category will be paid for any day where they are given a Paid Status, but where specific hours are not specified. For example, a full time employee on a training course from monday to friday will be paid 5 x 8 hours in the above example.
